GIRL!

A little girl will soon be joining our family and we couldn't be more thrilled! I had my diagnostic ultrasound this morning. After weeks of unrelenting sickness, I am so relieved to see that our little girl is still thriving! Everything looks good, though the amniotic fluid looked a little low - so we are going back on Thursday for another ultrasound to follow up.

When I was pregnant with my first two children, I was a little younger and ever so body conscious! I hid from the camera for nine months and I regret it now that I don't have more photos.  So, I’m trying very hard to make sure that I don't hide from the camera this time around.

Now that we know that it's a girl, I can't wait to start shopping! Pink, Pink and more PINK!

Feeling very blessed today!

It's been a while since we've had a baby in our home! Our youngest is 6 (just about to turn 7) and our oldest is now 9. All of our old baby gear has long been given away to family members or donated to charity - so, we are literally starting all over again with the newest addition to our family!

As a "seasoned mom" I have learned a few things over the years! I feel super confident this time around that I can narrow down my list to the essentials. I also know by now which brands I LOVE and trust and other's that I would prefer to skip over.

This carrier is an absolute back saver and now it's available in Organic fabric options and patterns - a definite essential! Currently $134.99.
4.Graco DuetSoothe Swing & Rocker in Winslet- Two baby essentials in one? YES, PLEASE! We also love that this swing includes a mobile and soothing vibrations - which infants LOVE! This is a pretty sweet deal at just $179.99

6. Medela Swing Single Electric Breast Pump - After a bad experience with another brand with my first child - Medela has become a go-to brand that I know and trust. I used the Medela Swing Breast Pump with my daughter and will plan to use it again with our new addition. It's super convenient and can be easily tucked away in a purse or diaper bag. It also includes a small carry bag. Currently available for $169.99

Fall is in the air! We have been gearing up for the upcoming Fall season around our house with a little decorating. I have walked past the plain glass block display in the craft store countless times and never knew quite what to do with them. After a trip to the craft store last week, I started to look around - and I found some great concepts for Fall Glass blocks. So, I decided to give them a try this past weekend. We made a pumpkin (jack-o-lantern) , Scarecrow and a Mummy. All are super simple to make, require only a few supplies and cost $10 and under (each) to make!

Read on for supply lists and tutorials for the Scarecrow, mummy, and pumpkin glass blocks.

10 Tips For a Healthy Halloween From The Experts

$
0
0
Halloween is fast approaching! Store shelves are stocked with sweets, goodies and costumes and kids are gearing up for the big night.

While Halloween can be tons of fun, it's important to keep things as healthy as possible. Registered Dietitian and educator, Kimberly Gomer MS, RD, LDN, offers up 10 great Tips for a Healthy Halloween.

1. Buy candy you don’tlike.
Love Snickers bars? Leave them on the store shelf. Otherwise, you can bet you’ll be breaking into that bag days before the costumed kiddies arrive at your doorstep. (And let’s not even talk about what happens if there are Snickers left over at the end of the evening.) Buy candy that does not call out to you, and on November 1, throw any leftovers out or take them to a homeless shelter or food pantry.

2. Think outside the candy box.
"On Halloween night, trick or treaters love non-food goodies, too," recommends Pritikin dietitian and educator Kimberly Gomer, MS, RD. Look in the party aisle of your favorite discount or dollar store for treats like glow stick necklaces (your little neighborhood princesses will love you!), spider rings, stickers, decorative pencils, stamps, notepads, erasers, balloons, play tattoos, game cards, and more. Better yet, buy treats that encourage kids to be physically active, like little bouncy balls, Frisbees, jump ropes, hacky sacks, and sidewalk chalk for drawing hopscotch or foursquare games.

3. Fuel up your little ones before they go trick-or-treating.
Before they head out the door, try to get them to relax (we know this isn’t easy!) and sit down to dinner, or, at least, a fruit plate and a cup of yogurt. That way, their appetites for the rest of the evening will be curbed, somewhat. (Maybe they’ll be happy with 6 little chocolates, not 16.)

4. Be firm but loving.
Keeping junk out of the house most of the year is important. "But realize that some junk on Halloween and other rare events is inevitable, and that’s okay. Embrace those moments, and at the same time make sure your kids understand how important it is to keep these indulgences occasional," counsels Tom Rifai, MD, Medical Director of the Metabolic Nutrition and Weight Management program at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Oakland, Michigan, and member of the Pritikin Scientific Advisory Board. Always emphasize the manypositive outcomes of eating fresh whole foods like fruits and vegetables, like a leaner body, clearer skin and excellent energy for all their activities and sports.

5. Perform trick-or-treat triage.
Once the kids bring in the candy, "get rid of the excess," suggests Pritikin nutritionist Kimberly Gomer. "The children don’t need a ton around, and neither do you. Also, if there are certain treats that ‘glow and glitter’ for you, triggering temptation, put them out of sight, perhaps in an out-of-the-way kitchen cabinet or freezer in the garage. The kids often forget about the candy faster than mom and dad!"

6. Meter it out.
On Halloween night, allow your children to enjoy a few bites, not a binge. Then, stash the goodies they’ve selected as "keepers" in the pantry. Get rid of the rest. In the days that follow, dole out one or two treats at a time (but only if your children ask for them), and always in combination with a healthy snack or meal. When the excitement over the candy has waned (and before you start digging into them), toss them out or take them to a shelter.

7. Focus on fun, not food.
"Make dressing up in costumes a big deal," suggests Kimberly, "and get in on the action, too. Dress up with your kids." Carve pumpkins, and enjoy the exercise of trick or treating around the neighborhood. (Do make sure you’ve also eaten a healthy snack or dinner before walking out the front door.)And sure, nibble on a treat or two while out enjoying the evening, as long as you know you can stop after one or two. "And always remember that it’s one night a year," says Kimberly. "Enjoy the evening, but don’t drag out the candy eating till Thanksgiving. Tell yourself, ‘I’ve splurged a little tonight. I’m back to healthy eating tomorrow.’" What a gift for your waistline and overall health!

8. Plan party fun on the front lawn.
"Get the kids (and grownups) up and moving with party activities," advises Pritikin Fitness Director Scott Danberg, MS. Set up a costume/dance contest. Before the sun sets, enjoy a pumpkin hunt (hide miniature pumpkins throughout the yard), pinning a heart on a scarecrow, or musical chairs (instead of chairs, use big pumpkins). And, of course, kids never tire of running from the big bad bogeyman (you dressed up in a creepy costume) in a game of Halloween hide and seek. Lots of calories burned. Lots of fun!

9. Stock up on sweet andnutritious.
The rest of the year, continue to think outside the candy aisle for treats that are sweet and nutritious. Make fruit fun. How about a Fruit Parfait? In a pretty parfait glass, simply layer your child’s favorite fruit with fat-free or low-fat vanilla yogurt. Then top with a strawberry.

10. Make healthy treats together.
Set up shop in your kitchen, and with the kids as sous chefs, create tasty desserts for a healthy Halloween and good health year-round.

Baby Boy - 24 weeks

If you're a regular reader you may remember the post that I wrote a few weeks ago. I went in for my 20 week ultrasound and was told that we were having a girl. The doctor didn't waiver in his proclamation that we were having a girl. He didn't give me a percentage or that he was "fairly sure" - he simply stated that it was a girl and pointed at the screen. So, as most mothers do after they learn the gender of their new little one on the way, I went on a girly shopping binge! We bought a pink bouncer, a pink patterned swing, pink blankets and a starter wardrobe of  girly frilly clothes. I had checked so many boxes off of our list of essentials and I was feeling mighty proud of myself! I was aiming for organized this time around - did I ever mention that my water broke with my son whilst I was attempting to help assemble baby gear - 1 day before my due date? Seriously folks, procrastination at it's finest!

At the same aforementioned appointment, we were also told that the amniotic fluid was a little low and that we needed to follow up - and follow up we did. We went for 2 ultrasounds after that appointment and went back in for a 3rd on Tuesday this week. The amniotic fluid still looked a little low at the previous 2, so they just wanted to keep an eye on it. This time around,  I decided to bring my daughter along to the appointment with me.

The room has a television on the wall where you can watch the ultrasound and my daughter was immediately fascinated by the images on the screen. She was so excited! She gasped and said "that's my little sister! WOW!" The tech turned to me and said, did someone tell you that you were having a girl?  Which was immediately followed by, "we'll go back and check on that after I'm done taking these images".

UM, WHAT? So, after checking on the fluid and after taking a look at the vessels in the umbilical cord, she went back to check. And there it was plain as day on the screen. I knew right away without her saying anything - it's a BOY! After confirmation from the doctor  I was told that I am in fact,  expecting a boy - a healthy baby boy.

Talk about an eventful day! So grateful that I brought my daughter with me or I quite possibly would have not found out until he was born. The poor little guy would have been showered in all things PINK! I didn't mention the gender at the previous two appointments and most likely wouldn't have said anything this time around either. We were there to check on the fluid - so obviously, that was the main focus. The doctor followed up by saying that it could have been the position of the baby when they called the gender. He also said that they should have said "fairly sure" at the previous appointment if there was any question.

Needless to say, we are feeling very blessed that he is healthy and the fluid levels are being labeled "adequate" at this point. We will continue to have to follow up to check the levels - but as of now everything looks good.

Now I'm off on an exchange spree, to swap out all of the pink for tons of blue! :)

10 Tips To Prepare Your Child For Kindergarten + FREE Early Learning Readiness Programs Across The Country

Kindergarten can be a wonderful and exciting experience. However, for many working parents, preparing young children for school can be daunting, especially considering that the average US child spends 33 hours each week being looked after by a grandparent, friend or parent.

That is why nearly 40 YMCAs across the country have launched the FREE Early Learning Readiness Program for Informal Family, Friend and Neighbor Caregivers to provide those who care for young children a stimulating, preschool-like experience through learning centers that foster development, improve school readiness, support the skills and confidence of caregivers, and make the transition to school easier for children.
They also offer these 10 great tips to help prepare your child prepare for Kindergarten:
  1. Play games that encourage alphabet recognition - like alphabet go-fish, or play with the letter refrigerator magnets.
  2. Help your child with number recognition and count items throughout the day like crackers, grapes, or carrots out loud together.
  3. Help children recognize their colors and talk about the colors in their food, toys or clothes.
  4. Develop shape recognition and motor skills when you practice writing, drawing or cutting out (child-safe scissors please) shapes like rectangles, squares or stars.
  5. Talk about sounds that letters make and how they sound so they can begin to recognize words. Overemphasize the first sound in words to help your child hear the individual sounds.
  6. Practice writing and drawing with colored pencils, crayons or markers for improved motor skills.
  7. Read lots of stories and work up to longer books to develop good focus and attention skills.
  8. Give children the opportunity to interact with other children in diverse settings and groups such as preschool, church, social groups, or play dates.
  9. Teach children how to express their feelings if she/he doesn't like something and role-play different situations she/he might expect.
  10. Teach children to write his/her name. You can make it fun with finger paint, sugar or salt in a pan, shaving cream or frosting.
Preparing children for kindergarten should be fun and not stressful. The Early Learning Readiness Program uses an innovative approach to provide informal caregivers with the tools and support to provide children in their care better learning and development experiences.
The Early Learning Readiness Program offers high-quality physical, emotional and cognitive experiences for kids. Caregivers and children can attend bi-weekly meetings together at neighborhood locations such as local Ys, community centers, libraries, schools and places of worship.

Monsters University on Blu-Ray & DVD + Q & A With Billy Crystal

Disney's Summer hit, Monsters University, is available now on Blu-ray & DVD! Bring home the story of how it all began. We absolutely LOVED Monsters University in theaters - so naturally we were super excited to check out this adorable tale at home.

The storyline of Monsters University is in fact a prequel to Disney's wildly popular, Monsters INC.
Monsters University follows Mike, Sulley and a cast of brand new characters as they embark on their college adventure to become "scarers".
Mike has dreamt of nothing more than becoming a scarer since his early school days when he took an inspirational school field trip. Mike's plans take a few twists and turns though after he arrives on the campus of Monsters University and meets his rival (soon to be friend) Sulley (voiced by John Goodman).

With the Blu-ray and DVD of Monsters University recently released in the United states, we chat withBilly Crystal – the voice of Mike Wazowski – for some insider information on the making of the Pixar prequel to Monsters, Inc. What was it like to return to the recording booth for the movie? What was Billy Crystal like incollege? And what does he think of the younger version of Wazowski seen in the new animation? We catch up with the acclaimed actor to find out…

Q: How does it feel to return to the character of Mike Wazowski in Monsters University?
A: It feels great. I love being this little guy. He’s my favorite character I’ve ever played in anything I have ever done. I don’t know what it is about him, but he’s so infectious to me. I love him.

Q: What excites you most about the return of the monsters of Monsters, Inc.?
A:One of the great things about this movie is that the kids who went to see the first movie are now college age. When the first movie came out in 2001, John Goodman [who voices Sulley] and I hosted several screenings for kids in New York. All those kids, and kids throughout the world, were 6 or 7 years old back then. They are now the same age that Mike and Sulley are in the movie, so they can look at it in a totally different light. We recently screened the movie for about 400 film students at USC and they went berserk because the movie is about them. They are making the same decisions in their lives that Mike and Sulley are making in the movie.

Q:When it comes to the recording booth for the movie, did you record your voice alongside John Goodman?
A:We always do that. In the very beginning, I said, “Can John come and work with me in the recording booth?” They said, “Well, we didn’t ask him. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen didn’t do it on Toy Story.” I said to them, “Well, get him in here and see if he’ll do it.” We soon started to work together in there and then great things started to happen.

Q:Why is it better for you towork together in the recording booth?
A:There were scenes that could not be done unless we were together, like the quiet moments at the lake in Monsters University. They are very powerful scenes, but we weren’t looking at our scripts. We knew our lines and we were able to act very closely together, just like in the movie. I think it really shows.

Q:How would you describe the personality of Mike Wazowski?
A:Mike loves to be in charge and he is very driven. I understand him completely. He doesn’t take disappointment easily and he’s always hoping for the best. I dig that.

Q:You mention that Mike doesn’t take disappointment easily. When was the last time you felt disappointed?
A:I’m constantly disappointed. I was disappointed this morning when they said I was going to be working until 5pm! There are constant disappointments in my life. ‘This movie didn’t work well, that didn’t work well; they don’t want to make this, they don’t want to make that…’ There is always something going on, whether it’s in business or in your personal life. Most of the time, your day never really works out the way you want it to work out.

Q:What’s your life motto, Billy?
A:I got an award at the Geffen Playhouse a while ago, and it was a really lovely night. When I accepted the award, I said to the crowd, “My grandfather said something which was really profound to me. He said, ‘If you hang around a store long enough, soon or later someone is going to give you something.’ So thanks for this!” [Laughs] I don’t know if I have one of those shiny mottos like, ‘Keep your sunny side up!’ Or, ‘Don’t turn your umbrella upside down!’ I just think, ‘Be happy you’re here, and just keep trying to keep yourself happy.’

Q:What’s been your greatest achievement?
A:Professionally? That I’m still around! This year is turning out to be one of my busiest ever. I’ve had Monsters University and I wrote a book. Plus, I’m going back to Broadway with my one-person show. If there is one thing I loved in particular, it was doing [the play] 700 Sundays on Broadway – as well as all of the tours. That’s why we are going to do it one more time on Broadway.

Q:Let’s step back in time, Billy… What were you like in college?
A:I was two different guys. At first, I went to school to play baseball – but that didn’t work out, so I transferred home to a junior college where they had a fantastic acting program. That’s where I really went nuts. I was exactly like Mike. I was heavily involved with everything. “Let’s do this, let’s do that!” We built a theater and I got my Actors’ Equity Card – and then I went to film school at NYU.

Q:What did you study at NYU?
A:To this day, I don’t know why I went to NYU as a directing major. This was nearly 50 years ago and I’ve no idea why I didn’t go as an acting major. I guess I was drawn to directing. I directed various stage projects and I’d made some home movies, so I always liked it.

Q:What was life like at NYU?
A:As soon as I got there, I went quiet because I was really out of my element. All of the young students were real filmmakers. There was Oliver Stone, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean. Well, Chris was in the acting school but we took film classes together. And my film professor was Martin Scorsese, who was a graduate student not much older than us.

Q:What was Martin Scorsese like back then?
A:This was 1968 to 1970, and he was an intense guy. He had long hair, a big beard and granny glasses. He was inspirational, but I couldn’t keep up with everything because I was a performer in my heart. Marty was very fluent in movies and he was extremely passionate about them, but I really felt like I wanted to be in front of people. I wanted to be a performer.

Q:You famously hosted The Academy Awards for nine years. Would it be a thrill to host them again? Or would it scare you?
A: I don’t get scared. My fears are always, ‘Can I be better than I was?’ They haven’t asked me and they probably won’t ask – but if they do, I would listen. However, it’s not something I’m eager to do at this point in my life. As your choices get narrower and your chances to do other things get smaller, I would rather do other things than go back to something I’ve done before.

Q:What scared you when you were younger?
A:To be honest, I still don’t love the darkness. The unknown has always been a little scary to me. Other than that, my Aunt Sheila was terrifying [when I was a child]. She’d put a napkin to her mouth and she’d say, “You’ve got something on your face, dear.” It would be like, ‘Let me just scratch that off your face; let me sand down your cheek!’

Q:What scares you today?
A:Those nasty people on Twitter. The people with mean comments. Don’t get me wrong, there are some wonderful people on there – but don’t read any of the people with mean comments.

Q:Are you active on Twitter?
A: Yes, I am. I do it for publicity reasons. And, every once in a while, if I have something funny to say, I’ll say it on Twitter.

Q:Have people written bad things about you online?
A: At times, yes. But they do it to everybody. Listen, no one likes to wake up knowing that someone doesn’t like them in the morning, but that’s the way it’s got to be. I don’t answer back. You can’t engage them because you don’t know who they are. It’s a weird world that we have uncovered. There are a lot of anonymous people out there on Twitter and anyone who can press ‘send’ is a potential critic. You get the good and the bad; not everyone is going to like it and I get that – but there is a meanness in some people.

Q:What are your thoughts on the fact that a lot of movie writers and actors are moving to the small screen?
A:  I think the best writing is in television right now. I honestly do. What shows do I like? Elementaryis great. Johnny Lee Miller is good. He and Lucy Liu are very good together. I also watch [comedian] Louis C.K. whenever he’s on television, but the best show is The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.

Q:Apart from watching television, how else do you relax?
A: I love being with the kids. And playing golf is a very nice way to get away from everybody and turn everything off. Sometimes, I might not even play a hole; I’ll just walk. Lately, I’ve also been drawing a little. I’ve been fooling around to see what comes out. And I also write. I can’t say it was hard work to write my latest book because it was very comforting to get on a computer every day. I really enjoyed writing it.

Q:What can you tell us about the new book?
A: It’s a book about aging. I wrote it when I was approaching 65, which was in March 2013. I thought I would go out on the road and perform the things I wrote about – but then they became more like essays, so it became more of a book than a concert. I gave it to my literary agent and he said, “This is good.” So we sold it as a book, and I just kept going and going. It became a memoir about my 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. It’s very funny, about a man getting older – and it’s called Still Fooling Them. That’s a mantra of mine right before I go out on stage. I really looked forward to working on my computer. Even though it was work, it was very cathartic. I loved it.

Official Synopsis:
After scaring up big laughs in theaters, the in-home release of “Monsters University” opens its doors to the movie in stunning high definition Blu-ray, and provides hours of all-new bonus material, in-depth behind the scenes features, deleted scenes, the animated theatrical short “The Blue Umbrella” and much more.  Directed by Dan Scanlon ("Cars,""Mater and the Ghostlight,""Tracy"), produced by Kori Rae ("Up,""The Incredibles,""Monsters, Inc."), and written by Dan Scanlon and Robert Baird & Dan Gerson (“Monsters, Inc.”), “Monsters University” marks Pixar’s 14thconsecutive film to debut at number one at the box office.

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike's plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair's out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. “Monsters University” bravely explores themes of self-discovery and the revelations that come with growing up.

Joining Crystal and Goodman as part of “Monsters University’s” monstrously talented voice cast are Steve Buscemi (voice of Randy Boggs), Helen Mirren (voice of Dean Hardscrabble), Alfred Molina (voice of Professor Knight), Charlie Day (voice of Art), Sean P. Hayes (voice of Terri Perry), Dave Foley (voice of Terry Perry), Nathan Fillion (voice of Johnny Worthington) and Aubrey Plaza (voice of Claire Wheeler). Featuring a score from recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and award-winning composer Randy Newman ("Monsters, Inc.,""Toy Story 3"), MU also includes music from Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia.

Let Target Kids' Gift Detective Help You Find The Perfect Presents This Holiday Season!

It's that time of year again; the holiday's are nearly upon us and it's time to start making my list and checking it twice!

Every year, the holiday season inevitably sneaks up on me. Yes, it comes at the same time of year every year. However, I still never feel quite prepared for the whirlwind that ensues between November and January. The shopping season is proving to be even more challenging this year, as I am also preparing for the arrival of our 3rd child in early February.

I definitely needed a little help with seeking out the perfect gifts for my children and Target's Gift Detective (former CIA Agent) Jonna Mendez came to my rescue with some great tips!

Though our children can be quick to share some item's that are topping their lists, they tend to remain quiet about some of the items that they are hoping for most, from Santa.

Jonna suggested a fun "Clandestine Communication" list making project that the kids are sure to enjoy and that will also help me uncover some of their most wished for item's this holiday.

Instead of sitting down and having the kids write out a list, Jonna suggested that we use "Santa's Secret Ink" to create our wish list's. "Santa's Secret ink" is both fun and useful in finding out what your kids want most this Holiday. You can read about how to make and use "Santa's Secret Ink" over on A BULLSEYE VIEW. It's a super simple mixture and requires ingredients that you most likely already have on hand in your pantry.

Jonna also suggested that I employ "Access Agents" in helping me find out exactly what my kids want most this year.

For example; making friends with one of Santa's helpers when your children visit Santa at the mall, can be a big help! Ask one of Santa's helpers to help you by listening in on your kids' wish list confessions to Santa.  Then have them share the list with you via a quick text, if possible.

This year, I am looking for item's that will get good use throughout the year. I have a tendency to seek out current fads when shopping for my children, which isn't always wise. These trending item's often only get used a handful of times and wind up in the "donate pile" early in the year. This year, I feel much better equipped to find item's that will hold my kids' attention long after holiday season has ended.

Jonna has some great tips to help parents seek out the perfect gifts for their kids this holiday season, visit www.abullseyeview.com to read more great tips on finding out what your kids really want this holiday.

Recently, I shared all of the great tips that Target Kids' Gift Detective, Jonna Mendez, shared with me for finding the perfect gifts this holiday season. One of Jonna's recommendations to find the perfect presents for my children was "Clandestine Communication".

Jonna suggested an adorable Christmas wish-list making project using "Santa's Secret Ink". This fun & simple craft is the perfect way to help kids create a super special wish list this holiday season -- that is meant for "Santa's Eyes Only"!

Creating holiday wish list's using "Santa's Secret Ink" is a great way to find out just what their little hearts desire, while still maintaining the holiday magic for your little one's.

What you will need:

  • Bottle or Jar
  • Small bottle of lemon juice
  • Self Adhesive Label or Tape and Paper (your choice)
  • Markers or Paint Brushes (to doodle on the label)
  • Small bowl
  • Paint Brushes or cotton swaps
  • Lemon Juice
  • White Paper
  • Envelopes
  • Hair Dryer

How To:
  • Create  a label for your squirt bottle (white condiment bottles can be found at the dollar store) that reads "Santa's Secret Ink" and affix it to the bottle or jar.
  • Pour the lemon juice in the bottle.
  • Pour a small amount of t he "Santa's Secret Ink" in a small bowl
  • Provide your kids with paint brushes and white paper
  • Have your children dip their paint brushes or cotton swabs in the "Secret Ink" and write what they want for the holiday's on the white paper.
  • Allow the "Secret Ink" to dry (note: it dries clear)
  • Have the kids seal their letters in an envelope for "Santa".
  • Parents can simply use a hair dryer on medium heat to heat the paper. When heated the lemon juice ( "Santa's Secret Ink") will turn brown and you can read all of the items that top your children's wish list this year!
This is a great holiday tradition to start with your little one's!

Happy Crafting & Happy Holidays!
